West Side Albuquerque is Prime for Pharmacy CompanyJust two years after Prime Therapeutics, a Minnesota-based pharmacy benefit manager, acquired the contract for Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico’s pharmacy business, it announced plans to open its second mail-service pharmacy, PrimeMail, on Albuquerque’s West Side. Prime’s overall growth has been impressive: The company, launched in 1998, now has over 1000 employees in four states. The PrimeMail facility in Albuquerque is located in a former call center, where it employs 160 people. The company invested $9.5 million in the project. |
